Duplicate files fill the hard disk space, if you’ve download the same multimedia file or copy it from pendrive multiple times. Even if you need to keep those file, you don’t need two of them. You can locate your multimedia files by using search bar (Press F3) and delete the duplicate files. The extension of multimedia files are mostly be .jpg, .mpg, .mov, .avi, .mp4 etc.

Windows Explorer provides several ways to view and compare your files, chosen from the Windows View menu, or by right clicking with in the Window.  To find duplicate files, just sort the files by creation date, date modified and file size.
